Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay

At Mandalay Bay, the Shark Reef Aquarium presents an exciting journey through a slowly sinking temple that has been overcome by some of the most dangerous predators in the world. Visitors view a diverse cross-section of magnificent aquatic creatures, including 100 sharks (across 15 species), exotic fish, reptiles and sea turtles. Featuring more than 2,000 animals, the Shark Reef Aquarium has nearly 1.6 million gallons of water across 14 exhibits, including rare Golden Crocodiles, Piranha, a Touch Pool Experience and the 1.3 million–gallon Shark Exhibit. Guests also experience two walkthrough tunnel exhibits that give then a “diver’s view” of this amazing underwater world.
