Springs Preserve

Located at the site of former natural springs that formed the original birthplace of Las Vegas, Springs Preserve is a cultural and historic attraction on the site of the springs. The Springs Preserve includes colorful desert botanical gardens, live animal shows, museum galleries, outdoor concert and event venues, an indoor theater, a historic photo gallery and a series of walking trails meandering through a wetland habitat to teach visitors about the city’s rich heritage. On the National Register of Historic Places, the Springs Preserve is run by the Las Vegas Valley Water District and offers recreation and education for the entire family as a respite from the hustle and bustle of the Strip. Also on the property is the Nevada State Museum.
