Paris Las Vegas with Fountains of Bellagio
Paris Las Vegas opened on September 1, 1999 at 10 p.m. to a spectacular fireworks show displayed from the resort’s Eiffel Tower. French actress Catherine Deneuve flipped the switch turning on the lights illuminating the tower. Today, Paris Las Vegas is unmistakable with the hotel’s traditional Parisian architecture and the half-scale Eiffel Tower and two-thirds-size Arc de Triomphe that dominate the property. At ground level, guests enjoy the Parisian atmosphere with surroundings that are modeled after actual French neighborhoods and seeing the iconic architecture of the famous Louvre museum and the Palais Garnier opera house on the resort’s façade. The resort offers exclusive dining at the street-side café feel at Mon Ami Gabi, the restaurant that originated the now popular patio dining on the Strip and halfway to the top of the Eiffel Tower, the world-class Eiffel Tower Restaurant combines fine French cuisine with a hint of Paris romance. All in all, the resort manages to capture not just the heart, but the spirit of Paris itself.
