Lloyd D. George Federal District Courthouse

Home for the district court in Las Vegas, the Lloyd D. George Federal District Courthouse was completed in 2002 and stands as a symbolic center of justice in Downtown Las Vegas. The building was one of only three in the nation to receive the highest recognition for design achievement given by the U.S. Government: the General Services Administration’s Honor Award for Architecture. As such, the courthouse creates a symbolic corner in Downtown Las Vegas with its giant articulated column that stands as a powerful totem and signature mark on the city.
