RTC - Bonneville Transit Center (BTC)

The transit authority and the transportation-planning agency for Southern Nevada is known as the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC). As the population of the Las Vegas Valley continues to increase, traffic congestion does as well. RTC is tasked with identifying transportation challenges and exploring and implementing both short- and long-term resolutions while promoting sustainability, air-quality improvement, enhanced mobility and increased quality of life for the region. BONNEVILLE TRANSIT CENTER Part of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC), the Bonneville Transit Center is located in Downtown Las Vegas on the southwest corner of Casino Center Boulevard. Designed to complement the redevelopment and revitalization of Downtown Las Vegas, Bonneville Transit Center features 16 onsite vehicle bays, about 100 double-stacked bike racks, a self-service bike repair station and preferred-parking spaces for hybrid vehicles. The Bonneville Transit Center’s commitment to sustainability received it a Platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building certification.
