University Medical Center (UMC)

Known locally as UMC, the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada is dedicated to providing the highest level of health care. The state-designated Level I Trauma Center for Southern Nevada, UMC is also the only advanced facility that offers a 24-hour team of specialized medical professionals prepared to respond to severe injuries at any time. UMC also has Nevada’s only burn care facility, the Lions Wound and Burn Care Center, and operates a comprehensive freestanding unit devoted to physical medicine and rehabilitation.
