Sam Boyd Stadium

Formerly known as the Silver Bowl, Sam Boyd Stadium is a football stadium and entertainment arena in Whitney, Nevada. Named after Sam Boyd, a major figure in the hotel/casino industry in Las Vegas, the stadium consists of an uncovered horseshoe-shaped single-decked bowl with temporary seating that can be erected in the open north end zone as needed. Located seven miles from both the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) main campus, it is the home stadium of the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels football team.
