The Lakes

Situated around a large private manmade lake with grassy areas and ponds, The Lakes is a master-planned community with some of the most breathtaking and lush landscapes in the Las Vegas Valley and features great places for walks and hanging out with local geese. Built from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s, The Lakes was at the edge of development in the valley, but now it is perfectly situated in the southwest with easy access to The Strip and all the various shopping and dining opportunities in the area. One of the first master-planned communities in Las Vegas, The Lakes remains a highly desirable residential area along with neighboring Summerlin, Peccole Ranch and Queensridge.
